Use one Bisacodyl 10mg suppository as needed. Do not exceed one suppository within a 24-hour period.
For optimal results, administer the suppository at bedtime. This allows the medication sufficient time to work overnight, producing a bowel movement typically within 6 to 12 hours. However, bowel movements may occur sooner or later depending on individual factors.
If you experience cramping or discomfort, drinking plenty of fluids may help. If symptoms persist or worsen, contact your doctor.
Regular use of Bisacodyl suppositories is not recommended. They are best used for occasional relief of constipation, not as a daily laxative.
Always follow your doctor’s instructions or the directions on the product packaging.
